Mission Statement

The Empire Chapter of IAEI strives to be a respected and an accessible resource to provide education in the understanding and use of the National Electrical Code and related standards contributing to the electrical trade industry.  The Chapter’s goals are to promote safe and proper electrical installation practices with the use of information provided by its members with integrity, experience, and education.

The Empire Chapter IAEI supports quality electrical installations and inspections. The Empire Chapter IAEI, a respected and accessible resource, can assist the AHJ in implementing the New York State Building Code by providing education related to the use of the National Electrical Code and associated standards. Refer to the Chapter’s support paper to AHJ’s in its territory and its support of the national position statement on the value of quality electrical inspections
